Our day began with what we thought would be a routine follow-up appointment with my father's primary care doctor. However, the visit quickly took an unexpected turn when the doctor informed us that my father needed to be transported to the hospital ER immediately. It was a frightening and uncertain moment for my mom and me.

When we arrived at the ED, Blake was the nurse who cared for my father. From the moment Blake entered the room, his calm and confident demeanor brought an immediate sense of relief.
