October 2026 Honoree
Beth Sheridan, BSN,RN
Beth Sheridan exemplifies what it means to be a nurse leader. Through her vision, steady leadership, and unwavering positivity, she has shaped a culture of trust, empowerment, and collaboration across both Malvern and Glen Mills Specialty Care sites. Beth consistently transforms challenges into opportunities for growth. Her ability to navigate the constant ebb and flow of busy specialty care clinics with calm, kindness, and a nonjudgmental presence sets the tone for her teams and inspires confidence at every level.
Beth played a pivotal role in the successful launch of our large Malvern site, an undertaking that required not only operational excellence but also the ability to bring together multidisciplinary teams with differing needs and expectations. She led this work with clarity, inclusiveness, and forward-thinking strategy, earning the respect of leaders, providers, and support staff alike. Her approach changed more than workflows; it strengthened relationships and solidified a shared vision for high-quality, family-centered care.
At the heart of Beth’s leadership is her belief in people. She entrusts her teams, values their diverse contributions, and empowers them to take ownership of their practice. Her direct reports consistently describe feeling supported, heard, and encouraged to grow. Her peers view her as a thought partner and a source of grounding perspective. Her leaders rely on her reliability, judgment, and ability to elevate team performance through culture, not command.
Beth leads from beside her team, not above it. She willingly jumps in to support clinic operations, demonstrating that transformational leadership is both strategic and hands-on. Patients and families appreciate her warm presence and the genuine care she brings to every encounter. She models the very behaviors she hopes to see in others: compassion, adaptability, initiative, and grace under pressure.
Beth Sheridan is not only a leader, but she is also a catalyst for positive change. Her influence has strengthened teams, enhanced patient care, and fostered an environment where people feel valued and capable of their best work. For her vision, her integrity, and her unwavering commitment to people and purpose, she is deeply deserving of the Nurse Leader DAISY Award.
