Becky Steiner, RN

Becky always shows compassion when caring for her patients. She often floats between departments to help when needed and never complains. Becky always tries to make her patients feel at ease and comfortable. The nursing assistants recognize her for her help with their daily tasks. No job is too small or too big for her to tackle. Most recently, Becky was recognized while working in the ED.
There was an elderly lady who was positive for COVID and had no ride home at discharge. The patient was very grateful for Becky offering to help her. She didn't qualify to ride home by ambulance, and she didn't have family. Becky, without hesitation, offered to take this patient home after her shift. This is only one example of Becky's random acts of kindness. If a patient has a birthday while an inpatient here, she is the first to recommend celebrating it. When a patient doesn't have clothes, she is right there, willing to run out and grab them an outfit. Her selflessness, kindness, and compassion don't go unnoticed here.
