Becky has been a dialysis RN for several years and has held many roles within the dialysis community during that time. I first met her in December 2008 when I became a dialysis patient.

I knew nothing of Davita's core values back then, but she embodied all of them and has continued to do so. I met Becky again in 2015, when I had become a dialysis nurse and went to help at a clinic she was managing. She was working tremendously hard attempting to keep all of her patients healthy and staff happy.

We became Teammates for Davita Richmond Acutes a few years later, and I have yet to see her commitment to service excellence, continuous improvement, integrity, and FUN waiver on any occasion.  She is one of the safest, most empathetic, and most knowledgeable RNs that I have the pleasure of working with.

For all of these reasons, I believe she needs the recognition that she never seeks out.
