I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Barbara Woodcock for the exceptional care she provided to my father during his stay at AdventHealth Tampa. Barbara went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and well cared for during a very challenging time.

While our family was visiting, my father became very upset and repeatedly complained about various issues. At times, he even threatened to leave the hospital. He also asked my mother to bring medications from home and became agitated when we insisted on checking with the nurses' station before giving them to him.

Through it all, Barbara remained incredibly patient and compassionate. She regularly checked on him, calming his anxiety and responding to his behavior with remarkable understanding. As a Vietnam veteran, my father struggles with being in enclosed spaces for long periods. Recognizing this, Barbara kindly had him sit beside her while she worked, which helped soothe him when he became frustrated with waiting for a CT scan. Barbara and my brother personally escorted him to the CT unit to help speed up the process and ease his concerns about being discharged.

My family knows that my father can be very difficult, especially when things don't go his way. Barbara handled every situation with grace, empathy, and professionalism. We are deeply grateful for the care and compassion she showed him.
