Barbara was my dad's nurse during his first 3 nights. She went above and beyond to connect with him, get to know him, and reassure him. She bathed and shaved him, and continued to encourage him and make him feel comfortable. At the beginning of the shift, she would lay out the game plan, run through his meds, always ask the family and my dad what questions any of us had. Barbara treated my dad like he was her own: with warmth, love, and humor. Very caring and made a huge impact!
