My husband was scheduled for bowel cancer surgery. We met with Barbara Clarke for preadmission testing. While everyone we met was helpful, we all felt Barbara Clarke went above and beyond in thoroughly explaining the notebook provided by Bon Secours, getting a chest x-ray scheduled while we were there, and offering to contact the Cardiologist, so they didn't have to schedule a heart test. This was such a stressful time, not knowing what was in store, and Barbara was calming and encouraging and put us all at ease. She didn't rush us but cared for all of us to allay our fears. Because my husband is 83 years old and already a survivor of esophageal cancer, which was too high up to be treated surgically, we were all apprehensive, and Barbara Clarke certainly put us at ease.
