Bailey has been a nurse with us since January 2021. She gives hope and love and defines excellence in everything she does for the mothers, babies, and families of our Women's Services unit at Bradley Medical Center. Every day, leader rounds produce remarks of excellence for Bailey. "She is an angel", "She is wonderful", "She is amazing," "She is great" are just a few. Recently, she was nominated by a patient for the DAISY Award. It reads a follows. "After having an emergency cesarean section for the delivery of twins due to cord prolapse, Bailey was such a joy and a pleasure to have as my nurse. She was very calm, therapeutic, and helpful in every aspect, and all my needs on the Mother-baby unit were met. She is a wonderful staff member who was attentive to needs I didn't even realize I needed as a post-operative patient." We are so blessed to have Bailey in our Mother Baby unit. She is a joy to work with and a blessing in every way to her patients and families. When I asked Bailey what brought her to work at Bradley Medical Center, these were her words. "I came to Bradley Medical Center from another area hospital to be more involved in my hometown community, and I am excited to specialize in what I have always had a passion for--Women's health and mother/newborn nursing. I stay at Bradley Medical Center because I truly love what I do and because of the friendships I've developed with my peers, whom I love and have become like family to me."
