I am a 64-year-old grandmother with no close family, but that's okay because they are living their best life. I speak with them frequently, so I am not looking for pity.

The kindest thing that happened the other day was that Autumn washed my hair, knowing I was so sick I threw up in it.  Autumn made sure to get good shampoo to get this rats' nest out of my hair. She did not need to do it as I wasn't her patient, her family, or anything, but she was so kind to run around and help.

Autumn, as I write this, crying, I want to just say thank you for being so kind. I live at the assisted care center in Cuba, and if we ever cross paths, I would love to take you to lunch.
