Autumn B. provided exceptional care to both my newborn and me during our postpartum stay.

From the very beginning, Autumn delivered care that made me feel truly heard, respected, and loved. In what can often feel like a clinical and unfamiliar hospital environment, she created a sense of warmth and comfort that felt much closer to home. She carried herself like a mother figure—gentle, reassuring, and deeply attentive—making a vulnerable time feel safe and supported.

Autumn demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge throughout every step of the postpartum process. More importantly, she took the time to clearly explain what was happening and why, ensuring I felt informed and confident rather than overwhelmed. She never rushed through interactions and always made space for my questions, answering each one with patience and genuine care.

What truly set Autumn apart was the emotional impact she had on me during my stay. She didn’t just provide excellent clinical care—she connected on a human level. When I became emotional and broke down, Autumn was right there to comfort me, offering reassurance in a way that felt sincere and deeply compassionate.

She also went above and beyond in thoughtful, practical ways—providing additional comfort measures like moisture-wicking materials and an abdominal binder, anticipating needs before I even had to ask.

At the end of her shift, Autumn made a point to come back and say goodbye, telling us it had been a joy to care for us. That simple but meaningful gesture left a lasting impression and perfectly reflected the kind of nurse she is.

Autumn transformed what could have been an overwhelming experience into one filled with comfort, trust, and genuine care. She embodies everything the DAISY Award stands for, and I am incredibly grateful to have been in her care.

Thank you, Autumn, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
