I had the privilege of witnessing Audra respond with true compassion, empathy, and professionalism while caring for two very complex patients, each facing significant medical challenges and intricate family dynamics. One situation involved a family coming to terms with the severity of their loved one’s illness. Audra skillfully guided them through the heartbreaking process of removing life support, allowing the family to honor their loved one’s dignity. Audra ensured they felt supported and informed every step of the way.

Simultaneously, Audra was assisting another family caught in conflict over the care of their critically ill father. The situation was fraught with high emotions, and Audra facilitated the family meeting and ongoing communication with the doctors proficiently. She listened to each family member’s perspective and allowed for an environment of collaboration and understanding. This allowed them to reach a place of peace regarding their father’s care.
