It is wonderful and such a blessing to have knowledge and experience, but to have a beautiful personality as well is one heck of a package, and the kind of care you hope to receive from a nurse.
She went above and beyond. She never had a mean word and made an old war veteran laugh. I think she is one of your best nurses. She took the time to talk to me, no matter what was going on. She always had something positive to say out of the kindness of her heart. She treated no patient without respect and the utmost courtesy. I love you. You overwhelmed my heart! Thank you! From a Gulf War veteran.

My dad has 6 children, all of whom have traveled in and shown up at the hospital. He was in a head-on collision, and the trauma added to his already sick body has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. The emotions were flying high with the family. A couple of my siblings had care concerns. We know the nurses can only do what has been instructed to them. However, they are the face that receives most of the emotions and frustrations from family. This young lady embraced her role, never wavered in her care for my father, and took those high emotions like a champ. She showed compassion for my father and us, yet remained professional and did not let anything interfere with the job she had to do. Sometimes you worry about the quality of care a loved one might receive after enduring those emotions, but not this young lady. She remained courteous and professional at all times. She appears to be one of the younger nurses, but she is bright, alert, and very good at what she does. It is wonderful and such a blessing to have knowledge and experience, but to have a beautiful personality as well is one heck of a package, and the kind of care you hope to receive from a nurse. May God forever bless you, Ashtyn!! Thank you for all that you have done and are still doing.
