I wanted to share my story in the ER on September 10th. Since my husband was diagnosed with cancer in July, we have been to the ER twice. On September 10th, while we were waiting for test results, the ER doctor and a room to be admitted,10:30 PM it was 10:30PM. My husband received excellent care from RN Ashton all evening, but at 10:30, I wanted to try to rest.

I lay my head down on my husband's bed, and RN Ashton immediately brought me a pillow. I was so very happy to have a pillow and proceeded to get comfy, but then I felt a warm blanket put on me. I looked up, and RN Ashton brought the blanket. Not only did he take excellent care of my husband, but he also extended comfort to me. To me, that was compassion above and beyond.
