Ashley Massara, RN

I am actually a staff member turned patient. After another nurse notified Ashley that she had seen I was in panic mode, she came and talked to me about being evaluated in the ER.

I was honestly scared to be seen because so many people talk, and I am not as open to admitting my own struggles, but I try to advocate for mental health. Ashley made me feel heard and seen, but most importantly, comfortable enough to be honest about the fact that I was falling apart.

Ashley even made things easier by keeping my check-in to the ER less overwhelming and private. I am grateful that she came and gave me the courage to seek the help I needed at the time.
