Ashley Clardy, BSN, RN

We had a patient come in for surgery, and he did not have any socks or shoes. He was completely barefoot and said he didn’t own any. Looking at the patient, you could tell his situation was less than ideal. Ashley was our charge that day, and when she heard this, she immediately jumped into action. She found out his shoe size and had a family member of hers go and pick up a new pair of shoes at the store. They were delivered here and given to the patient. Ashley is such a selfless individual, and this is just one way that she has shown such care and compassion to others.
