Ashley Burris 2023, RN
Ashley works tirelessly to ensure the patients in her departments as well as the hospital are provided outstanding care. You can find her at the bedside caring for patients and families and is a positive role model for her staff.
Ashley knows what it takes to work hard and to value others. She makes a difference because of her innate love of others and her community. Leadership comes naturally to her.
Ashley formulates bridges across every discipline within the hospital. She was instrumental in creating relationships between the ICUs and the ED in a time of conflict and turmoil. This allowed for sharing of staff to ensure safe patient care. She facilitated cross training of ED and ICU staff to better care for ICU patients boarded in the ED. She also modeled true leadership behaviors and this allowed for relationship building between two critical care areas.
