I would like to recognize Ashley, a truly exceptional nurse, for the extraordinary care she provided to our loved one and our entire family at the end of his life.

During one of the most difficult seasons our family had ever faced, she was a steady source of comfort, strength, and compassion.  She cared for our dad with such dignity and tenderness, always making sure he was comfortable and treated with deep respect.  Her presence brought peace into the room during moments that felt overwhelming.

Ashley was charismatic, loving, and incredibly nurturing.  She didn't just care for our dad medically; she cared for him as a person.  She also cared for us.  She took time to explain things gently, answered every question with patience, and anticipated needs before we even had to ask.  Her warmth made us feel loved and supported when we needed it most. 

What stood out most was Ashley's genuine heart.  You could see that nursing is not just her profession, but her calling.  She made an unimaginable situation more bearable simply by being who she is.

We will never forget the compassion she showed our dad or the kindness she extended to our family.  She is more than deserving of this DAISY Award.
