Arletta Swain -Cockrell, RN, MSN, CPNP
As a coworker, Arletta has been a teacher, mentor and friend. As a clinical manager, she is fair, supportive, hardworking, brings humor, and extremely knowledgeable.
Arletta loves what she does, and it shows. Her commitment to "her kids" is endless. Every single child is her priority and pride and joy. I believe she gains and sustains her energy from the kids.
They refer to her as their principal, RN, and mom. Arletta has developed this program in such a way that it is recognized throughout the community and the program is thought of as a viable necessity. With this program, children are given an opportunity to thrive and grow in so many ways. If it wasn't for this program and Arletta, these children would not have such a positive outlook, and their quality of life would be limited. I have seen these kids grow and become positive-thinking individuals. It is wonderful to see.
I believe Arletta has exceeded all expectations. She is highly respected. Arletta approaches each patient with respect and with a nonjudgmental attitude. TCH is a better place with Arletta.
