My dad wasn’t very well, but Aris was very reassuring, taking the time to make sure my dad was comfortable.
Back in 2023, my dad visited the frailty clinic and was seen by Aris. At that time, I was really impressed with his care, attention, and kindness to my dad. A few months later, I had reason to take my dad to A&E. Aris was there. It turned out my dad was very poorly, and Aris spent time with my mum and me explaining what would happen next and the possible outcomes. My dad wasn’t very well, but Aris was very reassuring, taking the time to make sure my dad was comfortable. My dad did recover after a 3-week stay in the hospital, and I know that during this time, Aris visited him. When it came to Dad's discharge, Aris gave valuable advice.

Recently, my mum was in A&E, and I was so happy to see Aris once again. Once again, we received fantastic care from him. He was there when my mum received bad news with his calm, reassuring presence. The Luton and Dunstable hospital is blessed with Aris, as I sat in A&E I could see that he was giving all his patients the same treatment and even whilst waiting for results he would pop in to assure us that he hadn’t forgotten about us. My dad now has vascular dementia, but when I told him that Aris was looking after mum, he instantly remembered him and relaxed, knowing she was being well cared for.
