April is more than a nurse; she is an angelic figure that we can all count on.
I have had the pleasure of working with April for almost nine months. She is the best nurse at Heartland. This LPN is an amazing collaborator as she works with the entire team: RNs, doctors, and TPWs, trying to figure out the best times to give meds and treat patients for various ailments.
April is very compassionate, exemplified by trimming a patient’s toe and fingernails, applying ointments for rashes, and listening to their stories. She is the very first nurse the surveyors see when they arrive at the patient units. April delivers the highest care during med pass and is amazingly quick and accurate. She is always looking for ways to make our patients’ lives easier.

If you gave me the choice of my mother, my sister, my niece, or April to care for me or another loved one, I would pick April seven days a week and twice on Sunday!
