As an infusion nurse, April brings empathy and expertise to her role. One memorable instance involved caring for a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient with small children. Through her calming presence and innovative techniques, she eased the patient's anxiety and made the treatment process more bearable. April’s ability to connect with patients on a personal level and provide comfort during their most vulnerable moments is truly exceptional. By sharing her own story of battling cancer, April offers hope and inspiration to others facing similar challenges. Her dedication to empowering patients is evident in her ongoing efforts to advocate, inspire, and support those battling cancer. She was invited to share her story at the Living Beyond Breast Cancer National Conference in Philadelphia, PA, last year, and courageously delivered a beautiful speech to over 1500 attendees.
