Mr. Anton Kalenkevich showed extraordinary nursing support and his outstanding heroism, professionalism, and compassionate response during a recent community event. In the middle of a community event for Visiting Nurse Service, a patient passed out and began to have a seizure. RN Kalenkevich and his team member followed emergency medical protocols and provided high-level interventions. Due to their prompt response, the patient regained consciousness and RN Kalenkevich was able to effectively gather critical data and administer dedicated care until emergency medical services arrived.

Once EMS was on the scene, he ensured a smooth transition of care. His quick action, dedication, and commitment to the well-being of the community saved a life that day. “They represented the very best of the nursing profession, providing extraordinary, life-saving actions when it mattered the most,” says our Community Affairs and HVIP team member.
