She went as far as cleaning my makeup off my face when I was crying and putting my hair up when I was sweating and in so much pain.
Ansley went above and beyond in more ways than one. I came in on Sunday to get ready for the next day. She clocked in the next morning, and she immediately came and introduced herself. She explained a little about who she was as a nurse and how she likes to do things. Then every step she took after that was thoroughly explained in ways that someone with no medical knowledge could understand. She made sure that not only I was taken care of, but that I had everything I could need, from drinks to extra pillows. She helped me with trips to the bathroom and so much more.

Ansley mentioned that she had no natural hearing and that she had implants right away so that there was full transparency. She wanted to make sure she was providing everything she could, as sometimes she can't hear everything that's said. She told me that the way she does things, like vitals, would be different. This immediately made me trust her more as my nurse for giving us this information.

Ansley continued to stop by religiously, even if she had all my vitals, just to make sure we didn't need or want anything. Sometimes, she checked in just to make sure mentally I was hanging in there. Throughout the day, she answered my one million and ten questions about everything you could possibly think of. She was full of joy and just the best. Ansley had answers to the questions that I had been asking for months.

I usually do not do reviews or take the time to do things like this, but this nurse was beyond amazing, and honestly, it is hard to express how great she is. She went as far as cleaning my makeup off my face when I was crying and putting my hair up when I was sweating and in so much pain. She probably gave me about 8 pep talks during my stay, which made it so much easier to get through the labor. When it came time to push, she was beyond supportive and explained everything as she had done up to that point. This nurse even got down on my level and maintained eye contact when she was talking to me, which made it feel much more personal and like I wasn't just another one of her patients.

She also made sure to stop by and say she was leaving and explain how the night would go. She wanted me to know what care I should receive, even though she was already supposed to be off for her shift. The next day, she did the same thing. When it came time to buckle in the car seat, she even helped us set all of that up and didn’t make us feel stupid or embarrassed. She truly had a heart of gold, and that will be the reason I will always come back to Habersham Labor and Delivery with any child that I have in the future. She will also be the reason that I recommend this hospital for new moms.
