Over the weekend, a patient and their family received unexpected news with a poor prognosis. Family and patient requested a chaplain, but none was available at the time. Several team members went to the room to pray with the family and patient.

Once it was known the family was Catholic, they were given a rosary, and Anne had anointing oil from her Catholic church. She anointed the patient and the rosary, and she gave them a Catholic prayer book from her hometown in the Philippines. Anne went above and beyond to give them comfort.
