Ann is always checking in and offering real-time assistance to all staff. She’s never afraid to get her hands dirty, even in high heels! Ann advocates for staff and doesn’t ask anyone to do something she wouldn’t do herself. Ann is a wonderful example of a nursing leader, and we’re so lucky to have her! Ann is a stellar example of how a nurse leader should perform. She is kind, friendly, fair, caring, and attentive to all her nursing staff. She leads by example, and it motivates people to follow her in the pursuit of optimal patient care. After 40 years of nursing, Ann stands leaps and bounds above any other manager or director I have ever worked with. She is special.

There are not enough words that can describe what an amazing leader Ann is. She is the true definition of a role model and someone whom I respect immensely. Ann always picks up the phone and makes herself available, if needed, with no questions asked. Whether you need a calm listening ear or help answering a call bell, she is always there for you. The ICU (and hospital) would be lost without you.
