Hallesy, an RN in the Primary Care Clinic at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, was praised in her nominations for always going above and beyond for her patients. Her nomination letter praised her for truly caring about her patients and having a huge heart for those facing systemic barriers. The nomination goes on to describe a situation where Hallsey had a patient who was new to the area and had a large family to provide for.

Hallsey spent time connecting the patient to the community, ensuring she found food, clothing, job services, and other resources in town, even using her own money to purchase gift cards, envelopes, and stamps to help them sign up for services. They go on to say, “Most people in this situation would give this patient a number to call for help, but Angie ensured that this family was clothed, fed, and felt safe and welcomed.” The nomination closes by saying, “When I think of extraordinary, I think of Angie. She has impacted so many of her patients’ lives in a positive way.”
