My husband and I were extremely impressed by her bedside manner, patient care, and family care! Her number one priority was the safety and comfort of my mother and abiding by hospital policy and procedure.
My 88-year-old mother was admitted to the hospital in May for high blood pressure and signs of stroke. She was brought to Johnson 3 on Friday evening and remained there until Sunday evening. Angela worked a double on Saturday and contacted me via phone throughout the day to give me updates.

My mother has dementia and became highly agitated in the evening to the point that she didn't know she was in the hospital, and she became combative. She was walking into other patients' rooms and bathrooms and started hitting Angela when she asked her to return to her own room. Angela called me right away and calmly explained the situation.

My husband and I went in right away and were there late into the night, helping make decisions and calming her down so she could sleep through the night. The floor was full and very busy. Angela had not stopped at all, but still remained calm and had a smile on her face. You would not know she was in the middle of a very stressful situation. She also had other patients who needed her constant attention.

My husband and I were extremely impressed by her bedside manner, patient care, and family care! Her number one priority was the safety and comfort of my mother and abiding by hospital policy and procedure. I was very worried about my mother, but felt very comforted that Angela was her nurse. Beverly Hospital is very lucky to have her. Thank you for your excellent care, Angela!
