It is with great pleasure and deep appreciation that I nominate Angie Junge, FNP, for the DAISY award. Over the past few years, Angie has been an invaluable member of our team, consistently demonstrating a level of compassion, dedication, and professionalism that truly sets her apart. Angie’s positive attitude is infectious. She brightens the day of everyone she encounters—patients, colleagues, and staff alike. Her unwavering commitment to patient care is evident in the countless times she has gone above and beyond to ensure patients receive timely and compassionate treatment.

Most recently, she rearranged her schedule to accommodate two patients in the midst of mental health crises, ensuring they received immediate and compassionate support. One patient, struggling with postpartum depression, is now thriving and enjoying life with her newborn - an outcome made possible by timely intervention. The other patient, who is set to follow up next week, has shown significant progress and is actively engaged in therapy. Her actions not only provided critical care but also helped restore hope and stability during deeply vulnerable moments. These are just some examples of her many selfless acts.

Beyond her clinical excellence, Angie is a mentor and guide to newer CMAs. She takes the time to educate and empower them, fostering confidence and competence in their roles. Her support extends to those pursuing further education, offering encouragement and guidance to help them advance their medical careers. Angie embodies the true spirit of service. Her compassion, leadership, and dedication make her a role model and a cornerstone of our clinic. She doesn’t just care for patients—she uplifts everyone around her. For these reasons and many more, I wholeheartedly nominate Angie for this award. She is more than deserving of this recognition, and I am honored to advocate for her.
