I would like to take a moment to nominate Angela B. for the DAISY Award in recognition of her outstanding care and compassion.
Angie has been an incredible nurse throughout A's chemotherapy treatments. She consistently treats A, and every patient, with genuine kindness, respect, and dignity. Her attentiveness to A's needs never goes unnoticed. She is always present, making sure A feels as comfortable and supported as possible during a very difficult time.
She always makes sure A feels comfortable during the administration of her medications, taking the time to explain, reassure, and provide gentle care. In addition, Angie carefully takes note of A's side effects after each treatment, ensuring that her doctors can provide the appropriate follow-up care. This level of attention and dedication truly reflects her commitment to her patient’s well-being.
What truly stands out about Angie is her positive attitude and the warmth she brings into every interaction. She has a special way of making patients feel safe, cared for, and valued. Her compassion goes beyond clinical care. It is heartfelt and deeply appreciated by our family.
