Andy is an absolute godsend. He was everything we could have hoped for in a nurse and more.

My husband was admitted with chest pains and required a cardiac catheterization. During an incredibly stressful and uncertain time, Andy was so reassuring and made us feel like he truly cared for us as if we were his own family. My husband’s anxiety was very high, but Andy took the time to explain everything in a way that brought him a level of calm we have never experienced before.

Whenever we had questions, Andy had thoughtful, knowledgeable answers. At no point did we feel anything less than respected and genuinely cared for. When my husband needed pain medication or anything to help manage his discomfort, Andy was there quickly and attentively.

I cannot fully express the gratitude I feel for the care Andy provided, especially on the day when my husband was struggling the most with both pain and anxiety. He made us feel supported every step of the way.

Not only does Andy have exceptional clinical skills, but his bedside manner, energy, and attitude were incredibly uplifting. We always felt confident that if we needed anything, he would be there immediately.

BVHS is truly fortunate to have Andy on their team, and I sincerely hope leadership recognizes what an outstanding nurse he is. In over 13 years of dealing with my husband’s heart issues, we have never experienced this level of care.

Andy absolutely deserves recognition for the incredible work he does for his patients and this hospital.
