Andrheena handles challenges with grace. Despite the patient's emotional instability and outbursts, Andrheena remained non-judgmental and focused on the patient's well-being.
With over 20 years of experience as a Stanford Health Care RN, Andrheena’s passion for caring for patients is evident every day. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her patients receive exceptional care with compassion that exemplifies Stanford’s high standards.

Andrheena works with brain cancer patients, many of whom have tumors affecting their overall function and survival. A notable example of her dedication occurred when a patient missed an appointment and did not respond to her calls. Andrheena took the initiative to contact the patient’s brother, who found him very ill with pneumonia. Thanks to Andrheena 's efforts, the patient was transferred to the hospital for treatment, likely saving his life.

Andrheena handles challenges with grace. In one instance, she cared for a patient with problematic behaviors who treated staff poorly. Despite the patient's emotional instability and outbursts, Andrheena remained non-judgmental and focused on the patient's well-being. When the patient came for her pre-op appointment, Andrheena insisted on seeing her to ensure continuity of care.

Andrheena is always the first to volunteer for coverage of her peers and has mentored numerous RNs. She has participated in various committees and projects that enhance patient care. Her passion and commitment are evident every day, and we wholeheartedly nominate her for this DAISY Award.

Note: This is Andrheena's 2nd DAISY Award!
