I chose Valley Home Care out of the two home care agencies the hospital case manager provided. The name “Valley” rang a bell. I remembered that my daughter and her family received healthcare from the Valley Health System. Andrezza, my nurse, is the picture of beauty outwardly and inwardly! She is soft-spoken, gentle, and thorough in all she does. She is unhurried yet makes efficient use of her time. She was courteous and friendly to all in the home. Conversations with her were easy and pleasant. She demonstrated excellent knowledge of all the relevant symptoms for my diagnosis. She wasn’t content to eyeball my feet and legs for edema, and she took the time to measure all these areas on each visit. She showed concern for how I was coping emotionally. She always called to give me a “heads up” to the time she would visit, realizing that there were others in the home she needed to take into consideration. She always showed up within the time frame that she had given. She maintained good hygiene by always sanitizing her hands before and after each visit. She stood out in sharp contrast to a previous home care experience. Thank you, Andrezza, and thank you, Valley Home Care, for choosing such an outstanding employee!
