I would like to thank and nominate Andrew Pierce in the Shelton Heart Center, CVICU.
He is professional, caring, kind, thoughtful, and thorough. His dedication and attention to detail truly make a difference. After doctors' rounds, he makes sure I understand everything and takes the time to answer any questions I may have. This may be minor to others, but important to me.
Proper care for thin skin is critical. Andrew takes the time to prevent and treat skin tears. He requests that Grip Wrap be used on me and not tape when possible. When being discharged, he will take time to remove all tape and stickers using alcohol pads to prevent skin tears.
