Andrea Polzin, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

I have been a patient here for about two to three weeks now, and have been struggling a lot recently with my emotional wellbeing and mental health. I was scared and anxious to be staying here at the emergency department on custodial care, without the comfort of my friends and family.

Andrea Polzin, RN, has made my stay here in the adult emergency room safe, comforting, healing, and brighter and more fun with the amazing and positive energy that she has brought to me while staying here.

I have a history of mental health problems, and with that being said, I have a very hard time adjusting to new things and trusting staff and nurses that provide care for me. Andrea Polzin has made me realize that it is good and okay to give people a chance and to learn to trust the adults who are providing care for me.

Andrea comes into work with a positive attitude and a full heart of care, concern, and love with boundaries! Andrea takes the time to listen to me and my concerns in depth, without any judgment. I feel comfortable expressing all of my concerns and opinions to Andrea.

Thank you, Andrea Polzin, for making the world a better, more healing place and for making the hospital feel as comfortable as possible. I truly have never met an RN as outstanding, bright, bubbly, and hardworking as you.
