This nurse has gone above and beyond, ensuring I am comfortable, educated, and heard. When you're in the hospital, you are stressed, confused, and unsure of what you actually need. She made sure to help me make sense of it all. It was never a simple "is there anything I can do" with her but rather her making suggestions and offers for things she thought would help. She saw that I didn't have my leg positioned properly and taught me how to position it correctly. She saw I was missing certain items and made sure I was aware of what was available to me. She made sure I got clean bedding as often as possible. I have a hard time asking for what I need sometimes to not come across as annoying or needy and she made sure to ask. I never needed to. Most importantly, she made me laugh and smile. At the lowest point in my life, she was an angel in disguise. We need more people like her in this world. She deserves recognition for being such an amazing nurse. I couldn't have gotten through without her. I could write a novel about how great she is.
