She took the time to listen to my concerns and fears, offering comfort and reassurance with her kind words and gentle yet straightforward approach.
Well, I shall start my voice dictation with this: Amy Shandera, who was a nurse who took care of me during my recent hospital stay, was truly exceptional in every way. From the moment she walked into my room, her compassion and dedication to my well-being were evident. She took the time to listen to my concerns and fears, offering comfort and reassurance with her kind words and gentle yet straightforward approach. Amy's time management skills were impeccable, as she juggled multiple tasks with ease while still managing to give me her undivided attention when necessary. She never made me feel rushed or like I was just another patient on her list. Instead, she made me feel like I was her top priority, always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well-cared for.

However, what impressed me most about Amy was her sense of humor. She had a way of lightening the mood and bringing a smile to my face, even in the midst of the pain and uncertainty that, although I tried not to show, were a part of my every day during my stay. Her positivity was infectious, and it made a world of difference in my recovery process with her technician.

Overall, Amy's performance as a nurse was nothing short of outstanding. She truly embodies the qualities that make a great nurse – compassion, time management, humor, and dedication to her patients' well-being. I am forever grateful for the care and support she provided me during a difficult time. It was a tough decision on which nurse I felt should receive this award because I truly received world-class care and truly loved the entire nursing staff. I want to mention, Amy served our Country in the USMC and despite her challenges she faced because of her service she still finds it in her life’s work to dedicate herself through service in her career to comfort those who have their own challenges, and she does so selflessly and consistently. Tell Amy I hope she enjoyed her movie night, and I was sad to not tell her goodbye face to face.
