Amy is a proud graduate of the North Eastern ADN program and a distinguished RN BC, she also serves as a member of the Nurses Honor Guard of South Carolina, Chesterfield/Marlboro Chapter—an honor that reflects her deep commitment to the nursing profession. She embodies dedication, compassion, humor, and heart. She lifts her team, advocates for her patients, and enriches our workplace with her energy and authenticity.

 At the center of her world are her 14-year-old son and her 16-year-old nephew. We would be remiss not to mention her wonderful mother, whom we love dearly, whose baking is top tier and has got to be known as Wallace’s top baker! Outside of work, she brings the same passion for life that she brings to her profession. She loves to travel, and her adventures are as spontaneous as they are memorable.

Over the recent holiday break, she hopped on a plane to Las Vegas to see the Wizard of Oz show, then shortly after to Los Angeles to give her son the unforgettable experience of seeing the Lakers play. We hear a trip to Hawaii is on the horizon. Additionally, she loves all things Elvis. No trip is complete without an Elvis fact, sighting, or mission—most recently, she searched the streets of Hollywood until she found his star.

Her enthusiasm is infectious and brings joy to everyone around her, including her patients. This nurse receives multiple recognitions each quarter! CPRMC is better because she is part of it, and she is profoundly deserving of this recognition. Her communication with providers is legendary—so much so that the doctors jokingly credit her as the reason unlimited talk and text plans exist.

Whether it’s a question, a concern, or an urgent update, she is always advocating for her patients and her team. It is an honor to recognize Amy Holden, PCS Leader on ACS, in recognition of her unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and the remarkable spirit she brings to CPRMC every single day.
