Amy has been an incredible source of support throughout my daughter's cancer treatment, especially in helping me meet her nutritional goals. When my daughter was unable to tolerate anything orally, I was made to feel by another department that continuing to exclusively breastfeed might not be in her best interest. Amy took the time to truly listen to my concerns and empowered me to trust my instincts as a mother.

Because of her reassurance and advocacy, I continued to breastfeed, a decision that has become a deeply meaningful part of my daughter's journey and wellbeing. Later, when I requested that my daughter's NG tube be replaced with a PEG to allow for a blended diet and better nutrition, Amy once again supported us wholeheartedly. She went above and beyond by researching the topic and sharing relevant literature with our consultant to advocate for our wishes.

Amy has consistently been an outstanding advocate for our family. She has lifted my confidence and morale countless times during what has been the most difficult period of our lives. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication truly embody the spirit of the Daisy Award.
