My wife was admitted for a surgical procedure that, unfortunately, did not go as planned. She has a cancer diagnosis, and of course, the outcome was devastating in the sense that we did not accomplish the goal of the procedure. Amelia has been our nurse for the majority of our stay post-surgery and is an absolutely amazing nurse and an even better person. Her demeanor, her care, and her character were all very clear from the start. She is so kind and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure my wife was as comfortable as possible. She listened when we had questions or concerns, and she acted on them immediately. The entire staff has been absolutely outstanding. But Amelia made a special impression on our hearts. We are so very thankful she was placed in our path on this journey, my wife is beginning, and what an incredible ambassador for this institution to have someone like her serving your patients. We’re forever grateful.
