Amber was an angel when I was in the ICU. I had been there a few days when she came in for the overnight shift. She told me that the first thing we were going to do was get me a bath. I had felt so grubby. She helped me with bathing and then washed my hair. Amber spent almost 20 minutes untangling my hair. It hadn't been brushed since I had arrived by ambulance. It was a very small kindness that had a huge impact on me. I felt like a human again.

Her care for me was spectacular. As listed above, that was the one that stood out for me. She also made sure my bandages were fresh, even though they had been changed a few hours before. She made sure I was comfortable, and I was just impressed with her empathy for her patients.
