It’s difficult to express just how much Amber impressed me, but I will do my best. At 71 years of age, I have seen many great nurses in action, but Amber stands out in a class of her own. She is bright, positive, and consistently goes beyond the traditional role of a nurse. Whenever I faced an issue and approached her about it, she handled it promptly and competently. 

For instance, she traced my problem of not having an assigned physician back to a misplaced piece of paperwork. Amber reached out to several people and resolved the issue quickly. She made it a point to stay updated on all my tests and results. My son even called from the Netherlands, and he was also impressed by her. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and encouraged him to call back anytime.

When I was waiting for surgery, I was brought a meal and told I could eat. I was skeptical, so I spoke with Amber, who contacted food services and corrected the error. She consistently went out of her way to ensure my comfort and well-being were top priorities.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to publicly express my appreciation; she truly deserves it.
