I was seen at the emergency department, and not to discount the other staff, but Amber exuded confidence and passion that was unavoidably noticeable and reassuring. I immediately felt comfortable and encouraged, despite being nervous, because of her patience, knowledge, and willingness to provide information and answer questions I had before making decisions on my treatment.

Before undergoing a procedure that was new to me, she made sure she was the last person I saw before going under, making eye contact, smiling, and telling me she'd see me when I woke up, and she was the first person I saw when I opened my eyes.

She was supportive, personable, and more than capable in her role. Amber is the type of person who not only makes her patients feel grateful she is working, but also her colleagues as well. I can only assume they rely on her and know that when she's there, the shift will go a little easier because of her expertise. I can't say enough about how I felt and was treated, and I am happy she is part of the M Health Fairview organization. I hope she is recognized and appreciated often and that her work does not go unrewarded in an often thankless profession.
