On Friday, my sister was scheduled for an induction after receiving the devastating news that her twin baby girls would not survive. The weight of that reality was compounded by the absence of her regular physician, which understandably left her feeling anxious and vulnerable heading into such a difficult experience.

From the moment we met Amber, her warmth, professionalism, and deep empathy created a sense of peace and comfort not just for us, but especially for my sister and her wife. Amber guided my sister through labor, supported her through unimaginable grief, and ultimately was the one to deliver her sweet baby girls. The grace and strength with which she carried herself through this process were nothing short of remarkable. She is fearless, compassionate, and truly gifted.

Amber honored my sister’s babies, born at just 16 weeks, with the same dignity and respect she would offer to full-term newborns. That kind of care is not only rare, it’s also sacred. In such a dark and difficult moment, Amber was a light. A true angel walking this earth. My sister could not have asked for a kinder, capable, and more empathetic nurse to care for her and her daughters. We will never forget what she did for our family.
