Amandhy is a credit to the nursing profession. She embodies the compassion and advocacy every family wants to see for their loved one. Amandhy came into mom's care in the last few days of her stay and made sure she not only put a bow on such a wonderful stay by bringing her genuine self to each interaction, but she also made sure mom's transition to her next facility went as smoothly as possible. She advocated to multiple providers on mom's behalf to ensure mom was referred to the appropriate level of care with the end goal of getting mom home safely. She checked in on mom after every provider visit, OT/PT session, and even after a nursing student med pass to make sure mom understood the information, that the providers followed through on what we needed, and that mom felt good about the plan. As a daughter who happens to also be a nurse, I trust Amandhy to take care of my mom.
