On a busy Monday in the Emergency Department, it can be very rough, especially in triage, but this nurse handled so many situations with professionalism, patience, and humility. It seemed like one thing after another was happening, and Amanda never lost her patience and pleasant personality. We had a difficult patient come who was being rude and noncompliant, and she was able to walk away and ask another nurse to try to reach the patient. Although he was really difficult, she never allowed him to see anything but respect and calm. An older patient’s daughter even came to me expressing how nice this nurse had been to her and her mother. I just want you to get a note on A Job Well Done.
