From the very beginning of our clinical, Amanda has consistently gone above and beyond for her residents. Every clinical day, she exemplifies the core values of nursing, demonstrating a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care. Amanda's proactive approach to client care is remarkable. For a resident who had suffered a stroke, she didn't just provide routine care; she collaborated with physical and speech therapy to develop resident-specific interventions. Her initiative led her to research best practices in aiding stroke recovery, ensuring her resident received both effective and thoughtful care. Furthermore, she invested time and effort into applying the clinical judgment model specifically to her resident's case, showcasing a deep understanding and application of critical thinking. 

Beyond her assigned duties, Amanda actively seeks out learning opportunities. She routinely asks staff if there are any learning experiences she can participate in. A testament to her eagerness to learn and practice her skills, she volunteered to perform wound care for a resident not assigned to her. The following week, under my supervision, she mentored another student, guiding them through the same wound care procedure, demonstrating her commitment to teamwork and peer education. 

Amanda consistently assists staff with anything within her scope of practice, always with a positive attitude and treating everyone with dignity and respect. She arrives early every clinical day, ensuring she is thoroughly prepared for the day ahead. Her willingness to help both fellow students and staff is a constant source of support for our team. Both residents and staff have complimented Amanda on her helpfulness and caring demeanor. She truly represents the dedication required to be a successful nurse and is unwavering in her pursuit of providing high-quality care.
