This nurse really did go beyond her bedside caregiver role. She ensured the personal needs of a long-term patient were taken care of, washed his clothes, brought him food he would eat, and made sure he had social interaction with others throughout the unit.

She made him feel he was important, he mattered, and people cared about him and his total well-being. Thank you!
