Amanda is a great asset to our NICU as an educator. She has been able to manage our many new orientees and still manage to teach our large staff. Amanda has done a great job representing St. Chris in many local and national conferences, while still staying active in the unit and in her committees.

Amanda is always available for questions and even takes the time to help out the doctors with Epic orders and policies. She puts 110% into everything she does. She spends countless hours researching new and efficient processes to improve our clinical practice. Her knowledge base is vast, and she is always available to staff, whether it’s a question about Epic or a new protocol we initiated. Amanda assisted with starting the CLABSI champion team in the NICU. She spent hours making videos that were available to all staff on proper central line care. The CLABSI champion team in the NICU has improved patient safety and outcomes.

Complete dedication to the NICU patients and staff. She is always doing her best for the patients. She works tirelessly day in and day out to keep the unit running. We couldn’t provide the care we do without her knowledge and support.
