I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care given to me by Alyssa. I was admitted to this unit at Henry Ford for the first time on January 25th, in pain and anger. This was the 6th visit to see my medical professional for my condition, and no one seemed to care or listen to me. Thank God for Dr. Jefferies looking deeper into my symptoms to diagnose what was actually going on. I am now a fan of Henry Ford. My nurse, Alyssa, made me feel safe, listened to my concerns, and made me feel like I was the only patient she had. Alyssa's professional service and attention to detail made such a difference for my stay at Henry Ford. I have never been hospitalized unexpectedly like this, and I was nervous and in pain. Alyssa made all of my anxiety go away and put my mind at ease. Alyssa is an asset to the Henry Ford nursing team and should be recognized, if not cloned! I pray for her continued success. Alyssa was an advocate with Dr. Jeffries for my clinical care. Her collaboration with Betty and Dr. Jeffries demonstrated her compassion for my care and well-being. Alyssa went above and beyond. Alyssa gave me great breastfeeding tips to get my baby to latch and always made me feel like I was being taken care of well. Baby and I loved her. She constantly checked in on us. Nominated By: Tyler-Family/Visitor
