Ally showed extraordinary compassion, skill, and dedication she demonstrated during my first time labor. From the moment she entered the room, Ally made me and my husband feel safe, heard, and genuinely cared for. One example that stands out is when my baby was being delivered and had shoulder dystocia along with MAS. Even with all the chaos happening, Ally took the time to talk to us and assure us everyone was doing everything they could. She was able to calm me and my husband down.

In this moment, Ally went far beyond her basic responsibilities. She took extra time to explain to me the process of labor from the moment we met. She would come into the room and have genuine conversations with my husband and me, along with answering all of our questions. She communicated with kindness and clarity, and ensured that we felt supported both medically and emotionally.


What impressed me most was how genuine and down-to-earth she was. I never once felt judged by her. She made my birthing experience a 10/10. Her presence brought comfort during an incredibly difficult time when I fainted after birth. She treated my husband and me not just as patients, but as people with dignity, compassion, and respect. She even came and checked in on the baby and me after we had left for the recovery room, and we were no longer her patients.

That meant so much to me that she was still worried for us. Because of Ally's exceptional care, simply feeling understood and reducing my anxiety, nurses like her remind us of the profound impact that one person can make in the lives of patients and families. She truly exemplifies what it means to be an extraordinary nurse.
